Power of (Mother’s) Love
A photo of an injured mother breastfeeding her seven-month-old baby went viral and evoked positive emotions from Thai net users.
The photo, posted on Wednesday by a Facebook user from Thailand (Volunteer Rescue Group, Thailand), shows a blood-soaked woman lying on a hospital bed with her baby in her arms, waiting to be treated.
The poster wrote: “This happened at Rong Kwang Hospital in Phrae province. The mother had an accident but she was holding her seven-month-old child close to her. She suffered a broken arm, a broken leg and a head injury, but she continued to breastfeed the baby. Both of them are now safe and are under close supervision of nurses and doctors.”
There is no limit to mother care for the child regardless of her condition, what important is child will be safe and well feed! This is perfect example of mother love for her baby!
May this encourage young mothers and mothers-to-be to breastfeed their babies. Not only that breastmilk is better than formula milk; breastfeeding is also the best bond a mother could ever have with her child. Just like what is in this photo, choose to breastfeed no matter what the circumstance.
