Actor Jaffer Idukki said he had met actor Kalabhavan Mani, who passed away on Sunday, a day before the latter was admitted to hospital.
He said they gathered at the outhouse of Mani’s home at Chalakudy. There were over 10 persons associated with film industry and a few relatives and neighbours of Mani, Jaffer said adding that Mani was healthy and happy.
Mani had one beer with me. Nobody used any other intoxicants there. I had gone there only to renew our friendship and discuss about a new film. It was the next day I came to know that Mani was hospitalised , jaffer said.
