Thani Oruvan Villain Goes International : Arvind Swamy To Hollywood

Arvind Swamy To Hollywood

Arvind Swami, the handsome villain of last year’s superhit movie ‘Thani Oruvan’, has reportedly landed an offer from the makers of Oscar award winning Hollywood film ‘Mad Max Fury’. Reports say that he has been offered an important role in their upcoming film. However, no official confirmation about the same has come from both the sides.

The actor who rose to fame with his role in Mani Ratnam’s ’Roja’, was on a break from 2006 to 2013 because of a physical injury. It was through Mani Ratnam’s ‘Kadal’ in 2013 he made a comeback to the industry. It was in 2015, he played the terrific antagonist role named Abhimanyu in ‘Thani Oruvan’ . This movie was directed by Mohan Raja and had Jayam Ravi in the lead.

Currently he is busy acting in the Tamil film Bogan. Again he is acting with Jayam Ravi in the upcoming movie. He also has a Telugu movie name Dhruva, which has Ram Charan in the lead, lined up for him. He has also acted in a Hindi film name ‘Dear Dad’ in 2016.

If the news about his Hollywood debut comes true, he will join the list of elite few Tamil actors like Rajinikanth, Nasser, and Dhanush who have appeared in foreign films.
