While fans of both Mammootty and Mohanlal keep fighting, the actors shares a great unbreakable bond between them and we all know about it. While both the actors big budget releases, ‘Thoppil Joppan’ and ‘Pulimurugan’ is about to clash in the box-office, director of the latter, Vysakh, talks about the friendship between both the actors.
Vysakh talks about this in an interview given to Southlive. He says “ The story of Pulimurukan was heard by Mammookka very first. After the shoot of the film started, he asks about the updates whenever we meet. When I was discussing this story with Udayettan on the shooting sets of ‘Rajadhiraja’, Mammookka came near me and asked me to narrate the story to him. He told me the experiences of shooting ‘Mrugaya’.
Later when we met, he informed me about the new techniques that came in CGI. He was also concerned about the safety of Mohanlal while shooting the action scenes. “He is crazy about fights, you should look after it” Mammookka said.
These words are enough to understand his concern on Mohanlal sir. He have even told Mohanlal sir to be carefull. I have heard from many about the positive response from Mammookka about Pulimurugan’s trailer. His words give me huge inspirations.”
Pulimurugan is all set to release on October 7th and is the biggest movie ever in Mohanlal’s career. Udayakrishan of Udayakrishna-Siby duo writes the screenplay of the movie produced by Tomichan Mulakupadam under his production company Mulakupadam Films.
Gopi Sunder handles the scores and Shaji Kumar the cinematography. Peter Hein does the fight choreography. Mohanlal said in an interview that the film contains an animal as the antagonist and story goes through the emotions of human and the animal.
