We all have heard about Mohanlal’s dedication to his profession. Currenlty Mohanlal is acting in Jibu Jacob’s ‘Munthiri Vallikal Thalirkkumbol’. The scriptwriter of the film, Sindhuraj, speaks about an incident that happened on the sets of the film.
“While shoot of the film was progressing Mohanlal caught a fever. He was really tired but Lal didn’t care about his condition, he was always ready in front of camera everytime the shot was ready.” says Sindhuraj.
Director Vysakh also talks about a similar incident on the sets of his upcoming release ‘Pulimurugan’. “ It was the day when Pulimurugan’s climax was being shot. Mohanlal had a great fever on that day. The climax shots goes through different stages and Pulimurugan’s reverse diving had to be shot. Even though he was physically unwell he told that shooting shouldn’t be cancelled.
He did his job perfectly in the first take itself but because of the mistake of people operating the rope, camera position didn’t come out correctly. About eight re-takes were done for the scene and Mohanlal was exhausted. Tears were rolling down my eyes.
When the scene was completed I apologized to him, but what his response surprised me. He told that the film is releasing in front of many people who trust upon us, our problems shouldn’t reach out to them. People are coming to get entertained by us, they shouldn’t be let down. This spirit is what makes Mohanlal, he will never say No to anything for cinema.”
