Thalapathy 63: Comedian Yogi Babu joins the star cast of this Vijay-Atlee movie

After the success of Sarkar, actor Vijay has now joined hands with director Atlee for his next venture Thalapathy 63. Archana Kalpathi of AGS Cinemas confirmed on her Twitter that the movie would be produced by the Kalpathi brothers under her home banner, AGS Entertainment. After Theri and Mersal, Vijay and Atlee will be coming together for the third time for Thalapathy 63. Both the films were a huge success at the box office.

According to the latest update, a source close to the team of the movie has said that Yogi Babu, who was last seen with Vijay in Sarkar, will also be playing an important role in this movie. The comedian is currently involved with Ajith’s Viswasam, Simbu’s Vandha Raajavathan Varuven, Sam Anton’s Gurkha, Sasikumar’s Kombu Vatcha Singamda and Dharma Prabhu. He recently played a cameo in Jyothika’s Kaatrin Mozhi and received immense acclaim for his role in Mari Selvaraj’s Pariyerum Perumal.

Comedian Vivekh will also be a part of the movie. He confirmed the news in a recent press interaction. While Academy Award winner musician AR Rahman will compose the music for the film, GV Vishnu is the cinematographer. 2.0’s art director Muthuraj is also on board for the film. Lyricist Vivek, editor Ruban L Antony and stunt choreographer Analarasu are also part of the movie.

The shooting for the film may start soon as pre-production work is scheduled to begin by January 2019. This film is expected to release on Diwali 2019. This year, Vijay-starrer AR Murugadoss’ Sarkar released on Diwali and set the cash registers ringing at the box office.
