As the authors of the report noted, it is these sectors of the economy that “will suffer especially severely as a result of measures necessary to stop the spread of coronavirus.”
Assessing the implications for individual states, the authors of the study believe that “the largest number of jobs will be lost by the states of Nevada, Montana and Hawaii, where a significant part of the non-population is employed in the retail, hospitality and entertainment industries.”
