Born against drugs and bullying, the Police application is updated offering support to those who suffer abuse
During the Covid 19 emergency period, most citizens stay at home in accordance with government guidelines. To ensure maximum accessibility to the emergency service of the State Police, the YouPol application is updated by providing the possibility of reporting crimes of domestic violence with the same methods and characteristics as the other types of reporting.
Designed to combat bullying and drug dealing in schools, the app is characterized by the ability to transmit messages and images in real time to the operators of the State Police.

The reports are automatically geo-referenced but the user can change the place where the events occurred. It is possible from the app to call the Nue directly (112 Single European number) and, where it is not yet active, the operating room 113 will answer. The reports are received by the Operations Room of the Police Headquarters responsible for the territory. It is possible to report anonymously.
Even those who have witnessed directly or indirectly – for example the neighbors – can obviously report the fact to the police authority, sending a message also with photos and videos. The application, born from the firm belief that every citizen is a responsible and active part in the democratic life of the country, can be easily installed on all smartphones and tablets by accessing the platforms for the iOS and Android operating systems.
