Russian businessman Alexander Udodov, who was married to the sister of Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, is suspected of money laundering in Germany.
The prosecutor’s office of the German city of Koblenz is investigating a Russian businessman Alexander Udodov, a former son-in-law of Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. The representative of the prosecutor’s office, Martin Müller-Helen, announced this on March 23 to the Deutsche Welle.
Udodov is suspected of money laundering.

Udodov was married to Mishustin’s sister Natalia Stenina. He told Izvestia that they no longer live together, but “have maintained good relations.”
Mishustin became the Russian Prime Minister in January 2020. Prior to that, he headed the Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation for 10 years.
In January, Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny published an investigation into Mishustin’s real estate. He found out that the family of the Russian prime minister owns real estate with a total value of about 3 billion rubles.
