“The meeting will be held in a secure video conference format on April 2, chaired by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg,” the statement said.
It was assumed that at this meeting, North Macedonia would be announced to join NATO. It is not yet known whether this solemn item will remain on the agenda, which the alliance has not yet disclosed.
NATO headquarters is currently closed to all optional visits and to journalists. As a result, the press conference following the meeting will be held online.
