“In view of the decisions taken by the Russian side on the termination of regular and charter flights made from Russian airports adopted on March 25, 2020, the Belarusian side requested that no distinction be made during evacuation activities between citizens of the two countries who find themselves in a difficult situation when they return home,” the message says.
Sergey Lavrov assured that the Russian side will provide assistance to Belarusian citizens who find themselves in a difficult situation abroad, along with the Russians. Overseas agencies in Russia and Belarus will coordinate efforts to provide assistance to citizens of both states.
As Rambler previously reported, on March 27, Russia will completely stop charter and regular flights, with the exception of flights that will transport citizens of the Russian Federation from other countries.
