Former MP, and now Kiev taxi driver Mikhail Gavrilyuk a month earns up to 35 thousand UAH.
Working as a taxi driver allows ex-People’s Deputy of Ukraine Mikhail Gavrilyuk to earn from 15 to 35 thousand UAH per month. He said this in an interview with reporters of Channel 5.
“There is no such thing that I work from morning to evening. I have a free schedule,” Gavrilyuk explained the principle of his work.
He said that sometimes he is satisfied with the thousand hryvnias earned per day, and sometimes he wants to earn more. “Then I’m circling the city for another hour or two,” Gavrilyuk said.
Comparing the taxi driver’s income with the salary of a deputy, he said that in 2014 he received 4 thousand UAH in the Verkhovna Rada, and 28 thousand UAH at the end of the cadence.
The ex-MP stressed that he considers the work as a taxi driver temporary.
“Maybe then I will be some kind of director or leader,” he said, emphasizing that his wife would not allow him to run for parliament again.

The fact that one of the Kiev taxi drivers is similar to Gavrilyuk was written on February 26 on Facebook by a Kiev woman Alla Zheliznyak. Gavrilyuk on his page on Facebook confirmed this information.
Gavrilyuk gained fame after during Euromaidan there was a video of bullying of police officers over him. The protester was stripped naked and forced to be photographed with security officials. After the victory of the Revolution, the virtues of Gavrilyuk were elected people’s deputy.
In 2019, in the early elections to the Verkhovna Rada, he ran for the majority district 95 in the Kiev region. 0.56% of voters voted for him.
