News of the Samsung Galaxy A02 being registered with some authorities began last month, and now it has reached CPQD in Latin America. According to CPQD’s website, the model number of the Galaxy A02 is SM-A025M / DS and the battery model code is HQ-50S. This model code is listed on the TUV Rheinland as 4,800mAh, so it could actually be a 5,000mAh battery.
The Samsung Galaxy A02 will be announced under the Galaxy M02 name in some countries, and Geekbench will feature 3GB of RAM and a Qualcomm chipset. Probably a Snapdragon 450 chipset.
Geekbench has yet to reveal the other specs of the Galaxy A02, but rumors have it that it will feature a 5.7-inch HD + display. There’s a 13MP main camera on the back with a 2MP depth camera and an 8MP selfie camera on the front.
Samsung has yet to say anything about the Galaxy A02. However, since the Galaxy A01 was announced in mid-December last year, the South Korean tech giant could launch the Samsung Galaxy A02 later this year.
