The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov said that in the near future canned distilleries will begin to work in the country with the aim of filling pharmacies with antiseptics at affordable prices. About it writes UNIAN.
According to him, Ukraine will help Italy and other countries covered by coronavirus by supplying ethyl alcohol, on the basis of which disinfectants are made.
Avakov stressed that this will happen only after filling the domestic market, because at a recent meeting of the government, it was decided to ban exports.
“And this [спирт] “Our international currency, which we can help Italians, when in the coming days we will saturate our market with alcohol and disinfectants,” summed up the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
On March 25, the Ukrainian government declared an emergency regime throughout the country until April 24. A quarantine has been introduced in the country, for non-compliance with the rules of which criminal and administrative liability is provided. All entertainment facilities, schools and universities, as well as non-grocery stores are closed, citizens are asked not to leave home. In major cities, public transport is restricted.
According to the latest data, in Ukraine, 145 people became infected with coronavirus, five died. The total number of coronavirus infected SARS-CoV-2 in the world exceeded 472 thousand people; 21.3 thousand died, more than 114 thousand were cured.
